Shauna Slaughter is the recipient of the "Extra Mile Employee" (EME) of the Month Award for July for the initiative and knowledge she demonstrated while the Board of Speech-Pathologists, Audiologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers was under Sunset Review.  Her suggestions during the division’s drafting of a legislative bill contributed to statutory revisions passing the General Assembly without question.
