BOARD FUNCTION: The Board of Dentistry and Dental Hygiene (hereafter designated as "the Board") regulates the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene for dentists and dental hygienists. The Board licenses qualified applicants; develops rules and regulations; prepares and administers examinations; and conducts disciplinary hearings and imposes disciplinary sanctions, when necessary. FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS:  Unless notified otherwise, the Board meets in January, March, May, June, August, October and December.  The meetings are held on a Thursday in each month at 3:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the general public and are held in the Cannon Building located at 861 Silver Lake Blvd., Dover DE.

To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:

• Completed, signed and notarized application form
• Fee payment, and
• All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
