BOARD FUNCTION:
The Board of Dental Examiners (hereafter designated as "the Board") regulates the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene for dentists and dental hygienists. The Board licenses qualified applicants; develops rules and regulations; prepares and administers examinations; and conducts disciplinary hearings and imposes disciplinary sanctions, when necessary. FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS:
Unless notified otherwise, the Board meets at least once in each quarter of a calendar year at 4:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the general public and are held in the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Blvd., Dover.
To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
- Completed, signed and notarized application form
- Fee payment, and
- All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
