Answer: All sections of the Landscape Architect Registration Exam (LARE) are administered by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB). See www.clarb.org.
Question: Can I obtain a temporary permit?
Answer: No. The law has no provision for the Board to issue a temporary permit.
Question: When does my license expire?
Answer: Licenses expire on January 31st of each odd year. See License Renewal.
Question: How many hours of continuing education do I need in order to renew my license?
Answer: You do not need any continuing education (CE) for your first renewal after you are licensed in Delaware. For all subsequent renewals, you must complete 20 hours of CE. For information about the CE requirements, see Section 7.0 of the Board's Rules and Regulations.
Question: Can I submit the CLARB Council Record for Supporting Documentation?
Answer: You may arrange for the Board office to receive your CLARB Council Record directly from CLARB as proof of your exam scores and supervisory documentation. However, the Board office must receive verification of your licensure in all other jurisdictions directly from each jurisdiction.
