License by Reciprocity


APPLYING FOR A LICENSE BY RECIPROCITY


An applicant who currently holds a valid license in another state or jurisdiction may apply for licensure by reciprocity if all of the following qualifications are met:
  • Submit a completed and notarized application and the appropriate pro-rated licensure fee. Check or money order should be made payable to "State of Delaware."
  • Provide a certificate or other evidence of a passing score on all parts of the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards uniform national examination or other similar national examination for landscape architects.
  • Provide current letters of good standing for each state or jurisdiction in which the applicant is currently or was ever previously licensed as a landscape architect.

Once the Board has approved the application, the applicant will be issued a license.
