BOARD FUNCTION: The Delaware Board of Pharmacy, hereafter designated as the "the Board", regulates and polices the practice of pharmacy and the registration of drug outlets engaged in the manufacture, production, sale and distribution of drugs, medications and such materials as may be used in the diagnosis and treatment of injury, and prevention of illness and disease. The Board regulates this profession by formulating rules and regulations, creating applications for licensing; reviewing and processing all applications; issuing and renewing licenses; conducting hearings, and imposing disciplinary sanctions, when necessary. (24 Del. C., Chapter 25, § 2501-2556)

FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS: The Board of Pharmacy meets the third Wednesday of every month (with the exception of July and December) to discuss pharmacy business as well as to preside over any disciplinary matters. These meetings are open to the public, except when the Board might enter into Executive Session. The meetings will routinely be held at the Cannon Building, second floor Conference Room A, Dover, Delaware.

To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
