BOARD FUNCTION: The Board of Examiners of Psychologists (hereafter designated as "the Board") regulates the practice of psychology for psychologists and psychological assistants. The Board establishes education, training and experience requirements for licensure; develops rules and regulations; and conducts disciplinary hearings and imposes disciplinary sanctions, when necessary. (24 Del. C., Chapter 35, § 3501-3520)

FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS: The Board meets the first Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. with the exception of July and August. In July, the Board meets the fourth Monday of the month and does not meet in August. All meetings are open to the general public and are held in the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Blvd., Dover.

To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:

  • Completed, signed and notarized application form
  • Fee payment
  • All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
