The Real Estate Education Committee (hereafter "the Committee") is made up of volunteers appointed by the Delaware Real Estate Commission. The Committee reviews course provider and instructor applications and makes recommendations to the Commission.
The Committee usually meets the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. All meetings are open to the general public and are held in Conference Room A of the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Boulevard in Dover. Items submitted for the Committee to consider at its meeting must be received in the Commission office no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting. Course provider and instructor applications must be complete two full business days before the meeting. A complete application is one that includes all required documentation and correct payment.
Certifications for both course providers and instructors are valid for a two-year period. By the end of the two-year period, providers and instructors must submit a new application to the Committee office. There is no renewal process. Course provider certifications are not transferable; certification pertains only to the organization or person named on the application for a specific offering.
