The mission of the Division of Professional Regulation is to ensure the protection of the public's health, safety and welfare, by providing administrative and investigative services that serve the citizens of Delaware, professional licensees, license applicants, other state and national agencies and private organizations.

The Division was established pursuant to Title 29, Chapter 87, § 8735 of The Delaware Code.

Professional Regulation Online Services

The Division’s home page is www.dpr.delaware.gov.  From the home page, businesses, professional licensees and the general public can reach our online services to search for information on a licensee, renew a professional license, change contact information or file a complaint.

The Information Center can be reached at (302) 744-4500. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. We are closed on State Holidays.

If you are in Delaware, you can call the Toll Free Directory/Delaware Helpline at (800) 464-4357.  If you are out-of-state, call (800) 273-9500.

Media Inquiries

For media inquiries, please fill out the Media Inquiries form to request information from the Division.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

To submit a request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), please complete the Request for Public Records form. To direct the request to the Division, ensure "State" is selected in the Public Body section of the form.
