In July of 2018, the Department of Professional Regulations (DPR) began work to build a new licensure system. The new system, Delaware Professional Regulation Online Service (DELPROS), will replace the current DPR system. The system will allow for a complete online solution to apply, manage, and renew all professional licenses in the state of Delaware. Also, it will provide a place to verify professional licenses and file complaints.
DELPROS is being designed to simplify and automate professional licensing services using an innovative, internet platform that is used in many other states.
DELPROS will go live to the public in the late fall of 2019.
What will happen to all of the paper documents when the State transitions to the online system?
Answer: Once the State goes live with the online system in late 2019, all applications will now be 100% online, no paper applications will be accepted.
Why do I need to provide an email address?
Answer: When the online system goes live all communication will be completed via email. Applications, notifications for renewal and communications will be emailed so that we can better serve our customers in a timely manner.
When will the online system go into place?
Answer: The online system will go live late fall of 2019. More information will be provided throughout the process on our website. Check back for new updates.
What do I need to do if I am applying for a license after the go live date of the online application system?
Answer: You will need to start by creating an account and filling out your contact information. The contact account information will be the way that you are identified in the system and will be used throughout the process of applying, renewing and managing any documentation that will be needed for your license.
