NEW CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS

The new process for obtaining a criminal background check is effective as of September 5, 2023.

NOTE: The Criminal Background Check Authorization form is no longer needed. All fingerprinting is now completed digitally through IdentoGO.

The previous process of registering with the Delaware State Police (DSP) sites or submitting cards to DSP will no longer be available beginning on September 11, 2023, and you will need to register via the UEnroll website utilizing the Service Codes provided below for either fingerprinting at an IdentoGO location or submitting cards via mail.


Instructions for Obtaining Your Federal and State Criminal History Checks

For instructions to complete your fingerprinting for both the Federal and State criminal background checks, go to www.uenroll.identogo.com. See below for the required profession-specific Service Code. For a quick help guide see IdentoGO Quick Guide.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION: At this time only Delaware locations are showing in the location search results for IdentoGo. No out of state locations are available at this time. IdentoGo anticipates that in early October out of state locations will be available.

If you are unable to schedule at a Delaware location you will need to select the option to submit a fingerprint card by mail.
