You can access public professional licensure information for individuals or facilities, including any disciplinary documents that may be on the record. Click on Search & Verify License and follow the instructions to access this quick, easy, and free service. Online license verifications are considered “primary source verifications” for purposes of credentialing. If an official license verification is required follow the below instructions.

If you need an official license verification to be emailed to another jurisdiction, click here or go to the DELPROS home page and click on Apply/Manage a License and Service Requests tile, then follow the instructions below.
IMPORTANT: If you are NOT the licensee and need to request a License Verification for someone else’s license, use the License Verification Request Form. Follow the instructions on the form closely, in particular the recipient section.
DO NOT use the form to request a license verification of your own license. You need to submit an online Service Request in DELPROS using the instructions above.
NOTE: All requests will be processed in the order in which it was received.
If you are requesting an official verification for any of the following license types: Physician M.D., Physician D.O., Physician-Limited, Physician Assistant, ACGME Training, Administrative Medical, or Nursing licenses, see the special instructions sections below for Medical Practice or Nursing.
To verify a Delaware Physician M.D., Physician D.O., Physician-Limited, Physician Assistant, ACGME Training, or Administrative Medical license, you must submit the request directly through VeriDoc. Physician (including Physician Training), Physician Assistant, and Administrative license verification requests to another state or jurisdiction are not accepted.
You may only request an official verification from the Delaware Board office for Physician M.D., Physician D.O., Physician-Limited, Physician Assistant, ACGME Training, or Administrative Medical licenses when the verification is for:
If you hold a license from the Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline, not in one of the above license types, submit the official verification request following the instructions above. This includes Respiratory Care, Acupuncture, Eastern Medicine, and Genetic Counselor practitioners. VeriDoc does not verify these types of Delaware licenses.
The Division of Professional Regulation only provides official license verifications for Nurses for the following reasons:

There is no charge for using the online license verifications in Search & Verify a License feature.
The fees for all official verifications are listed below. There are two ways the Verification fee(s) appear in your online cart, and its based on whether a Service Request or the License Verification Request form is submitted.
All fees must be paid by credit card online through DELPROS. Do not send a check, cash, or money order to the Board office.
If your profession is not listed above, the Division of Professional Regulation is only able to provide a Service Request for license verifications without exam scores. The following professions must contact the national organization for exam score verification:
