Continuing Education and Audit Information




How to Request Continuing Education (CE) Approval

To submit a request for a CE course approval, you must use the DELPROS online portal for Service Requests. Go to the Service Request webpage and follow the instructions on how to submit the Service Request.

  • It is important to have all of your course documentation available as you must upload the information in the Service Request application.


Continuing Education Requirements

The amount of Continuing Education (CE) that you are required to complete depends when your license was issued during a full licensure period.

IF you are licensed… THEN your CE requirement is…
On or after 7/1 even years but before 7/1 odd years 5 hours
On or after 7/1 odd years but before 3/1 of even years 0 hours
On or after 3/1 of even years 10 hours


General Audit Information

Random audits are performed by the Board to ensure compliance with the license requirements. Active license holders selected for random audit must verify that they have completed the required CE, as applicable, and any other information required by the Board to confirm their continued eligibility for licensure.

Audit Requirements

Do not upload any CE documentation into DELPROS unless you have been notified you were selected for audit.

If you are selected for audit, you must enter all CE course information and upload:

  • a certificate signed by the course presenter or a designated official of the sponsoring organization for each course completed.


Entering Continuing Education in the CE Tracker

Continuing Education (CE) is tracked in DELPROS, the Delaware Professional Regulation Online Service. To enter your CE, you must first create a DELPROS user account. Go to the DELPROS online portal, and then click on Apply/Manage a License and Service Requests. If you:

  • are already an existing user, log in with your email address and password under the existing user section.
  • have not yet created a DELPROS user account, click on REGISTER.

After creating your user account or logging into the DELPROS online portal, you may begin entering your CE.

  • Click on the CONTINUING EDUCATION link in the dark blue banner at the top of the page.
  • Click the ADD COURSE button.
  • After choosing your profession, complete the other required fields and click on SAVE.
  • You will get a message of Success if the information you entered was entered correctly.
  • Click the CONTINUE button to add more courses, upload documents, or delete entries if an error was made.

When you are done, click on DASHBOARD in the dark blue banner at the top of the page to navigate back to your Dashboard’s home page.
