How to Request Continuing Education (CE) Approval

To submit a request for a CE course approval, you must use the DELPROS online portal for Service Requests. Go to the Service Request webpage and follow the instructions on how to submit the Service Request.

  • It is important to have all of your course documentation available as you must upload the information in the Service Request application.

Continuing Education Requirement

The amount of CE that you are required to complete depends on when your license was issued during the full licensure period. If this is your first renewal, and your license was issued during the:

  • first year of the renewal period, July 1-December 31 of the even year, you must complete 24 CE hours
  • first year of the renewal period, January 1-June 30 of the odd year, you must complete 18 CE hours
  • second year of the renewal period, July 1-December 31 of the odd year, you must complete 12 CE hours
  • second year of the renewal period, January 1-June 30 of the even year, you are not required to complete CE hours

Chiropractors must complete 24 hours of approved CE during each full licensure renewal period between July 1 and June 30 even-numbered years (2018-2020, etc.).  At least 3 hours of CE must contain ethics, recordkeeping, or risk management. For complete information on the CE requirements, see Section 2.0 of the Board’s Rules and Regulations.

For the July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022 licensure period ONLY– the board has approved ALL required continuing education courses to be completed asynchronously. Due to course limitations caused by Covid-19, the Board has authorized ALL required CE to be completed online/virtually including the 3 hours of required ethics, recordkeeping, or risk management continuing education.

For a list of Board-approved CE courses, see Approved Continuing Education.

General Audit Information

Random audits are performed by the Board to ensure compliance with the license and certificate requirements. Licensees and certificate holders selected for the random audit must verify that they have maintained the required CE and any other information required by the Board to confirm their continued eligibility for the license or certificate. For complete information, see Section 3.3 of the Board’s Rules and Regulations.

Audit Requirements

Do not upload any CE documentation into DELPROS unless notified that you have been selected for audit.

If you are selected for audit, you must upload a copy of:
