How to Request Continuing Education (CE) Approval

To submit a request for a CE course approval, you must use the DELPROS online portal for Service Requests. Go to the Service Request webpage and follow the instructions on how to submit the Service Request.

  • It is important to have all of your course documentation available as you must upload the information in the Service Request application.

Active Speech Language Pathologist, Audiologist, and Hearing Aid Dispensers must complete 30 hours of approved CE during each full licensure renewal period between August 1 and July 31 of the previous odd-numbered years (2017-2019, etc.).

Dual License individuals with licenses in 2 areas of specialty must obtain a minimum of 30 CEs during each full renewal period, with 15 CEs obtained in each specialty area.

General Audit Information

Random audits are performed by the Board to ensure compliance with the license requirements. License holders selected for the random audit must verify that they have maintained the required CE and any other information required by the Board to confirm their continued eligibility for the license. For complete information, see Section 8.2.6 of the Board’s Rules and Regulations.

Audit Requirements

Do not upload any CE documentation into DELPROS unless notified that you have been selected for audit.

If you are selected for audit, you must upload a copy of:

  • the certificate of attendance or completion for each CE course that you entered in the CE Tracker in DELPROS
  • your annual calibration certificates – Audiologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers ONLY
    • If you are not currently working as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser or if you do not possess any audiological equipment that requires annual calibration, upload a Request for Exemption from Calibration Requirement form with your audit documentation.
