Answers

How do I apply to sit for the FG exam?

Answer: Submit a FG exam service request after registering in DELPROS (Delaware Professional Regulation Online Services). If you wish to take both the FG and the PG exams, submit a service request for the FG exam in addition to the PG exam application. You may refer to the fee schedule for the fees for both exams.

How long does it take to complete the application process?

Answer: With DELPROS, our online system, the application process is very efficient. However, the amount of time it takes varies based on how quickly the application and all supporting documents are submitted and considered “complete”. When the application is complete, it is reviewed for approval of licensure on or before the next Board meeting. The meeting schedule is available on the State of Delaware public meeting calendar.

How do I send a written license verification to another state?

Answer: See Request License Verification.

How do I change my name or address?

Answer: To change your name on your license record, you must log in to DELPROS and submit a Service Request and upload a legal document showing the change (e.g., copy of a marriage certificate, divorce decree). To change your address in DELPROS, you must navigate to your license record by logging in using your DELPROS user account. On the license tile on Your Dashboard, click on OPTIONS. Choose Change Address and follow the instructions.

Where do I go to view the details on how to apply to take the Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG) examination(s)?

Answer: See the Examinations webpage.

How do I apply to become an approved Geology continuing education provider in Delaware?

Answer: To become a CE provider, you must create an account in DELPROS and submit a Service Request. You will need to provide full information about course(s) you are offering. The Board will review the application and supporting documents for approval and you will be notified .

How do I obtain a seal or rubber stamp?

Answer: You must obtain either a seal press or rubber stamp seal. Most office supply stores can imprint a seal for you. See Section 3.0 of the Rules and Regulations for a sample of the seal.

How do I request a wall certificate?

Answer: To receive a wall certificate in addition to the standard license certificate, submit a Service Request in DELPROS and pay the required fee. The Board will sign the certificate at its next scheduled meeting and mailed to you.
