Do I need a license to work in Delaware if I am licensed in another state?
Answer: Yes. To work in Delaware as a Speech/Language Pathologist, Audiologist, or Hearing Aid Dispenser, you must obtain a Delaware license.
How do I apply for licensure?
Answer: Read the instructions, rules, laws, and requirements on this website for the type of license you are interested in. When you are ready to apply, create and log in to your personal DELPROS user account. Complete your application for licensure following the instructions in DELPROS and submitting the supporting documentation.
How much does a license cost?
Answer: See Fee Schedule. You pay for your license and any other services in DELPROS, using a credit or debit card.
Do I need a license to work in any setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist in Delaware?
Answer: Yes. Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists working in Delaware license, regardless of the setting, must obtain a Delaware license before delivering services. This includes schools.
