STREAMLINED LICENSURE TRANSFER APPLICATION
NABP streamlined its licensure transfer process in 2018, changing the way Pharmacist applicants submit transfer applications to the Delaware Board. For important details about the new application, including deadlines, see Licensure Transfer Program (eLTP). For information on submitting an eLTP application to the Delaware Board, see License Transfer.
The primary objective of the Delaware Board of Pharmacy is to promote, preserve, and protect the public health, safety, and welfare. To meet this objective, the Board
The Board issues licenses to pharmacists and pharmacy interns. It also licenses pharmacies (both in Delaware and elsewhere), pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, medical gas dispensers and retail businesses that sell non-controlled prescription drugs for veterinary use.
The Board’s statutory authority is in 24 Del. C., Chapter 25.
Unless notified otherwise, the Board meets the third Wednesday of every month, with the exception of July and December. All meetings are open to the general public and are held in the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Boulevard, in Dover. The meeting schedule is available at the State of Delaware public meeting calendar.
The Board/Commission may need to review and approve your application for licensure and will only review a complete application. A complete application includes your application and any documentation submitted through DELPROS and/or any documents submitted through the mail or email from third-parties. The Board/Commission will review your documentation at its next scheduled meeting.
